    Tasting - Te Mata, Hawkes Bay w/ Keith Tibble and Brett Newell

    This evening was going to be presented by Te Mata vineyard but is now being covered by Eurovintage with Keith Tibble and Brett Newell hosting the evening for us.

    Indictive wines for the evening, still being worked on at the time this  newsletter went out:

    • Starting with Estate Range Sauvignon Blanc
    • Premium Sauvignon Banc
    • Two premium reds – Awatea and Bullnose ranges
    • Estate Range – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon

Member prize draw

The members’ prize draw takes place at each meeting, but you must be present to win. We also have a raffle draw to be won. Purchase your tickets at the door and be in to win.

Drinking and driving

Members will be aware of the lowering of drink/drive limits from December 2014. If you are unsure, refer to the Land Transport Act 1998. We ask members to be conscious of these limits. For those driving, water and some food are provided. Alternatively, consider designating a driver, using a taxi, Uber, or dial-a-driver to ensure a safe ride home.

Wine bottle screw caps

The club is collecting wine bottle screw caps to donate to the Lions in support of Kidney Kids NZ. No food lids or beer tops, please. Save and bring them to the next monthly meeting.
