At the conclusion of the AGM, supper will be served, accompanied by wines from the Club’s cellar. Please note that as most wines will only be single bottles, we would appreciate members-only tasting a modest amount of each wine.

Raffle: The committee has decided to run a very special raffle to help defray the supper costs. Tickets will be $2 each or 3 for $5. The prize is a choice of either:

    • 2015 Ata Rangi McCrone Vineyard Pinot Noir [rated 99/100 by Bob Campbell and worth over $75]
    • 2015 Ata Rangi The Craighall Chardonnay [rated 96/100 by Bob Campbell and worth over $60]

Let’s Look Out for Each Other (still)

As always, please do not attend the evening’s presentation if you are feeling unwell. Thanks, Your committee.

Member prize draw

The members’ prize draw takes place at each meeting, but you must be present to win. We also have a raffle draw to be won. Purchase your tickets at the door and be in to win.

Drinking and driving

Members will be aware of the lowering of drink/drive limits from December 2014. If you are unsure, refer to the Land Transport Act 1998. We ask members to be conscious of these limits. For those driving, water and some food are provided. Alternatively, consider designating a driver, using a taxi, Uber, or dial-a-driver to ensure a safe ride home.

Wine bottle screw caps

The club is collecting wine bottle screw caps to donate to the Lions in support of Kidney Kids NZ. No food lids or beer tops, please. Save and bring them to the next monthly meeting.
